Happy Mother's Day to all Mothers. As a mother, you should have paused a minute today to pay tribute to yourself. To commend yourself for having sacrificed for your children. If you were not blessed with the gift of motherhood, fret not, you are still a mother. You see, we are all mothers and you need not have given birth to be one. There are so many children who need your love and devotion and direction. Assume the position of motherhood and go and find a child who needs you in their lives. Today, is about recognizing that you can make a difference in a child's life. By doing so I assure you that you will have changed a small corner of the world and that change will go on for generations long after you and I have moved on.

Today I did little related to Real Estate, so whats wrong with that! I spent the day pampering myself, my sister and I that is. Later we joined my brother and it was like the good ole days like when we were kids...We shopped (cuz that what Bev loves to do and then we dined) I love spending time with them. I handed out a few fliers but pretty much, it was a relaxing afternoon. Bev gave me awsome Mother's day gift, 2 pairs of shoes, 1 jacket and an awesome purse. I am sleepy now, I can't write anymore...

So today I met with another of my Mortgage Bankers and willingly he helpled to distribute my marketing materials. See, ya gotta line yourself up with a mortgage Banker or two or even three. Business is tight out there and they know it too. If you get business, they get business. It's more fun when there are a couple of you out there, you don't feel so alone. Within 10 minutes after being out , my Banker got a lead for a refi and I got 3 leads to purchase! This aint too bad after all! Point is, the days of the client beating down your door are over, you got to go out there and get your business! Meanwhile, Saundra and I go one about to settle and about 7 in our pipe-line. Can I rest now, No! Heck no! I got to go out there and grab some more. I got to keep the pipeline jammed! The way I figure it is that if I do it now, you know plant my seeds? The winter ought to be secure! Now I must work on my mail bag for the radio show. Oh! I didn't tell you about the radio show did I? Saundra and I host a weekly radio show IM4radio.com It's an internet radio show every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm and we tell you all about the market, different programs available to home buyers and sellers. The beat goes on...

This morning, I will join Chris Reed and we will go out and greet and meet! The idea is to do this at least 3 times a week or something like this. They call it lead generating. My goal is to systematically perfect this concept, to bring it to a point where it is working for me.

While I have been practicing Real Estate for nearly two years now, I never really applied a technique for acquiring new clients. I was moreless flying by the seat of my pants getting a client from referrals or family. Well I found that you run out of family so then what do you do?
You develop a system. I invite other Realtors to follow my progress and if it works for me, do it! If it does not...no comment! Each day I will document my plan for that day and the next days I will share results. Should you have exercises that work for you, I am open for suggestions. The Beat Goes On...

Actually, I am trying something I never really attempted with any degree of consistency. Of course you know that I am a relatively new Realtor with rookie status. My goal is to be the millionaire producer and do so without having to hire an expensive coach. I mean after all, if we were making the money, we would not need to hire a coach and since we are not making the money...we can't afford to hire one anyway! So as you can see, I find myself in a catch 22! I got to go out there and play the numbers game. I recall as a young adult, still in my teens, my Dad used to say, oh by the way, he was a salesman. Life magazine credited him with being "The Man With The Golden Tongue" that was back in the 50's anyway, good ole Dad used to say, "If you knock on ten doors, someone has to answer" I shall apply that theory to my daily routine. Instead of knocking ten times however, I will speak to everyone in clothing! Now wait a minute, I guess I better knock too. Point is, I got good news to share and I need to tell everybody and tell them to tell everybody else. Anyway, I went out today with a young lady who sold me a rolling ad. That's one of those big ads on a truck that rolls from one ad to the other all day long. It travels from one area to the other and the hope is that someone who has a need to purchase a home will see my smiling face along with my business partner's and feel compelled to call us. So...Lydia and I went out today distributing my information and just chatting with those willing to chat. We really had a great time. Ok so there are some crabs out there but they're not just being crabby to me, they're just crabby people anyway. Key is to know that it's not personal and just keep on distributing and sharing the good news. I met some awesome people. In fact, I met more congenial, happy loving people than I did crabs! Guess what? I am going to go back out again tomorrow! I can't wait! Oh yeah, and if you wanna hear the good news...you know what to do...toodles
